Advanced High-Frequency and Low-Frequency Engineering

The high-frequency section features a 1¼-inch pure titanium dome compression driver, which couples directly to a rotatable constant-directivity waveguide. This design ensures smooth response, uniform coverage, and excellent clarity across the listening area.

Meanwhile, the low-frequency section uses a high-output EVS-12M woofer engineered with advanced computer-aided optimization. As a result, the speaker delivers high efficiency, low distortion, and outstanding intelligibility, even at elevated sound pressure levels.

To improve vocal clarity and minimize off-axis coloration, the EVC-1122-64W uses a modified fourth-order passive crossover, offering 24 dB per-octave slopes and smooth integration between drivers.

The EVC series is designed to provide installers with a cost-efficient yet premium-quality solution. The cabinet is constructed from 15-mm weather-resistant plywood coated with durable EVCoat, ensuring long-term reliability.

For mounting flexibility, the enclosure includes:

• Eight M10 suspension points

• Support for optional U-brackets

• Compatibility with multi-mount pan/tilt wall mounts

These features allow integrators to place the speaker precisely where optimal coverage is needed.

The input panel supports 10 AWG (6 mm) wire and allows optional connector covers for NL4-type plugs or weatherized gland-nut fittings.

Optional Transformer for 70V/100V Systems

For distributed audio installations, you can easily mount EV’s TK-150 audio transformer onto the internal landing pad. Once installed, the transformer activates EV’s patented Automatic Saturation Compensation (ASC).

This technology maintains strong low-frequency output even when multiple speakers run in parallel, ensuring that the system remains stable and clear. Impressively, the transformer-equipped speaker maintains the same sonic character as the standard version.
